Teaching Safety – Empowering God’s Children®

The Diocese of Helena requires that safe environment lessons for each age group be selected from the plans listed on this page. 

New last year, VIRTUS is offering a Pre-K Lesson. If your location has Pre-K programming, then you must facilitate a lesson for them. 

You may use any lesson for each age-cohort; you do not have to use the same lesson for every age. For example, you can use Lesson 1 for Pre-K, Lesson 2 for grades K-2, Lesson 5 for grades 3-5, Lesson 2 for 6-8, and Lesson 6 for 9-12. Or, you could use Lesson 4 for all grade levels

Lesson plans for each grade level are selected by the Principal or Pastor of each School/Parish.

The Deadline for reporting is May 22, 2026.
