Sr. Mary Michael Fox gave several talks across the Diocese of Helena introducing Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a method of educating children in Christ based on Scripture, the Catholic liturgy, and the pedagogical principles of Maria Montessori. Sr. Mary Michael’s recent work, Following God’s Pedagogy: Principles for Children’s Catechesis, is on how CGS aligns with the 202 Directory for Catechesis. Who is this for? This course will benefit priests, deacons, lay pastoral leaders (DREs, catechists, youth ministers), school religion teachers, and anyone responsible for handing on the faith (which includes all baptized adults)
