Catholic Social Services of Montana (CSSM), a statewide organization funded and supported by both Catholic dioceses in Montana, offers a special ministry to persons experiencing unplanned pregnancy and those whose infertility leads them to seek a family through adoption. Social Workers provide free, confidential counseling, complete adoption services, and post placement support. CSSM assists in the adoption of children with special needs from Montana, across the nation, and foreign countries. CSSM provides services to those who have been impacted by abortion through Rachel’s Hope, as well as Confidential Intermediary services to reunite birth and adoptive families who have lost touch. The agency is working to facilitate the creation of parish teams who will support struggling mothers and fathers from pregnancy to parenting.
