July 9-14, 2024
Justice Outreach Project is a week’s worth of service, learning, and solidarity. Centered on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, JOP is about engaging in meaningful, Christ-centered relationships with the Blackfeet. Focused on the needs & capabilities of young people by placing them outside their comfort zone, this extraordinarily fun and unique adventure crosses the borders of race and culture. Each day is unique, but they all include a mix of prayer, worship, work, play, and cultural immersion.

Online Course on Catholic Social Teaching:
In the summer of 2018, the Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry, through the generosity of SonLight and other donors, embarked on a mission to document, record, and share the blessing of Justice Outreach Project.
Our goal was to create a series of visually-stunning, short videos that would introduce the principles of Catholic Social Teaching through the lens of life on a Native American Reservation.
Our hope is that parishes and individuals would use these videos to both prepare their youth before they participate in J.O.P. and to use them in their own ministry programs as a way to discuss CST. To that end, we have developed an online course that incorporates other resources (e.g. scripture, the Catechism, papal & synodal documents, etc.) with these videos.
