The successful candidate needs to be able to do the following:

  • Provides an appropriate educational program for each student.
  • Complies with policies, rules, regulations, and directives.
  • Instruct individuals and groups in a classroom setting.
  • Plans curriculum, lessons and teaching methods.
  • Monitors students’ progress in and outside the classroom.
  • Reports cases of suspected child abuse according to state law.
  • Maintains regular contact with parents of students.
  • Participates in faculty meetings, educational conferences, and professional training.
  • Evaluate student progress based on work output and observation, and determine goals, objectives, and directions.
  • Prepares report cards and educational records.
  • Consult with other professionals and teaching staff regarding the progress of students and related educational matters.
  • Works with students and classroom professionals.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Helena is seeking a qualified administrative professional to support the operations of Holy Cross and St. Patrick’s Cemeteries in Butte. This position reports to the Cemetery Manager and is responsible for providing an advanced level of administrative support for the cemetery, including overall office management, reception and clerical support, and service to the general public.

Candidates should have an associate’s degree and at least two years of administrative experience, or the equivalent education and experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are also essential.

This part-time position is a .50 FTE, working approximately 20-25 hours per week. The hourly pay range will be $16 – $18 per hour, depending on experience. This position does not include benefits.

Music Director
St. Anthony Parish
Missoula, MT

St. Anthony Parish is looking for a part-time Music Director. The Music Director will work collaboratively with Father Pascal to coordinate music for weekend and holy day masses as well as other parish liturgical celebrations and funerals.

In addition the Music Director shall be responsible for the maintenance of our choir including arranging rehearsals, inviting choir members and scheduling cantors. The Music Director is not expected to attend all liturgical celebrations.

Knowledge of the structure and spirit of Catholic liturgy is essential for this position. The Music Director shall share in the liturgical planning process and assist with attending to copyright issues and reporting. Must be a practicing Roman Catholic and willing to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church. Must be unbiased toward the Roman Catholic Church and willing to work cooperatively in its endeavors.

St. Anthony anticipates that the working hours for this position will range from 8 to 12 hours per week. Wage will be paid hourly and is dependent on experience and level of responsibilities assumed.
