Religious Emblems
Religious emblem awards for Catholic Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are available. Parishes are encouraged to cover the cost of related workbooks and medals as earned.


Boy Scout Faith Emblems

Light of Christ   Cub Scouts, Tiger/Wolf, prior to 3rd grade
Parvuli Dei        Cub Scouts, 2nd grade
Ad Altare Dei     Boy Scouts, ages 13-14, 6th grade
Pius XII             Boy Scouts, 9th grade & up


Girl Scout Faith Emblems

Guardian Angel    Ages 7-9
I Live My Faith     Ages 9-11
Marian Medal      Ages 12-15
Spirit Alive           Ages 15-17

 


Scouting Recognition
Diocesan Scouting Recognition is held each year in February at the Cathedral in Helena, religious emblems are presented to Boy and Girl Scouts and adult Scout leaders.

Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting
The diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting coordinates religious emblem counselor training and other Scouting events or activities.
